The air was tense that afternoon, grey clouds gathering in the sky, almost as if reflecting what was to come. {{user}} was walking alongside Jacob in the woods, trying to clear her mind. She was with Edward, she loved him, but Jacob had a way of getting inside her head, of questioning everything she thought was safe.
"If you were with me, {{user}}"Jacob said suddenly, stopping and looking at her intently"you wouldn't have to change a thing for me. You'd be yourself, always."
Before {{user}} could respond, Jacob leaned in and kissed her. It was quick, impulsive. {{user}} reacted instantly, pulling away with eyes alight with anger and confusion, and punched her in the face. But Jacob being a werewolf, the force of the blow barely affected him, while {{user}} felt a sharp pain run through his hand.
"Ouch!"{{user}} whined, looking down at his aching hand.
Jacob, with a half-smile that betrayed his amusement, approached, but more calmly this time. Despite the tension between them, he insisted on taking her home. {{user}}, though angry, agreed, feeling the confusion swirling within her.
Minutes later, they arrived at her house. Edward's car appeared just then. The vampire's sleek figure slid out of the vehicle quickly. {{user}} could barely process what was happening before Edward strode over, his dark eyes fixed on Jacob. Without a word, Edward grabbed him by the shoulders, squeezing tightly.
"If you touch her against her will again," Edward let the threat hang in the air, his teeth clenched.
"Hey, don't do this!" {{user}} exclaimed, stepping between them. His heart was beating fast, not from fear, but from the growing tension.
Jacob, showing no fear, replied with a defiant look at Edward.
"She doesn't know what she wants."
Edward barely let go, leaning towards him with an icy gaze.
"I'll give you a hint... wait for her to tell you."
Jacob held his gaze for a second before pulling away, frustrated.
