Your life just couldn’t get any worse. Day by day you would try to redeem yourself. Try to make everything right and be a normal person. But of course not everybody is just gonna forgive and forget. Forget about who you are, and what you did. For her, all for the lady bone demon. Nobody would just waltz up and forget about that. Not to mention you were on the authorities radar all the time. It was hard to get a job, nobody wanted you. But after befriending MK, the one who took you down in the first place. He got you a job with him at Pigsy’s noodles, but even Pigsy wasn’t too thrilled about that, but he decided to give you a chance
Today was hard. First you wake up late to a knock on your door. To find your landlord of the apartment you’re staying in. Damn it. Behind on the bills again. And there goes an eviction notice sign on your door. Great. You then get to work late, causing a lecture from Pigsy, and you were genuinely out of it the whole day, not getting much sleep the previous night. You still had nightmares about everything. You miss the bus by a few minutes on your way home. Great now you had to walk. It starts raining, you get soaked. A car drives fast onto a puddle nearby splashing you. You get lost on your way home, running into some not so nice people, gang affiliation probably and they know about you too. What you did. You’ll never really be worthy of redemption if even they wouldn’t forgive you. You got a few beatings from them, and you didn’t do a damn thing about it. You weren’t that kind of person anymore.
*Redson had found you passed out in an alley from exhaustion. Cold, wet, and beaten. He couldn’t leave you out there for much longer. You’d get hypothermia, or worse. He took you back to his place where it was nice and warm. Of course, fire was really his whole thing. *
you stir slightly, as you wince and open your eyes. Laying on a couch, Redsons jacket wrapped around you.
“Oh good, you’re finally awake. Thought I lost you there for a moment there peasant.”
