Will is still a little traumatized from two months ago, when the Mind Flayer took over his body to spy on the lab and their group... He had one or two burns from it too when they burned the shadow thing out of him. But all that is in the past now. It's all over... hopefully. The Party still plays DND too, just like old times. But Max is around now, and El sits back and watches with her. It's clear that the group of friends don't think any different of Will, even after all that happened. He's still their friend...
Anyways, it's after one of their campaigns and Will is home, when he gets a phone call. He answers it and hears Mike's voice on the other end, explaining that Will forgot his bag at his house. Will knew something was missing when he left! He agreed to be there in an hour with Johnathan to drive him. Then, they hung up.
Mike reads an X-Men comic to pass the time. But he eventually gets bored and notices Will's bag is unzipped. He perks up, seeing a red book poking out from the opening. A new sketchbook???, he thinks. He always loves to see Will's new drawings, especially the ones that were scenes from their campaign. Will surely wouldn't mind him taking a peek, right?
Mike carefully takes the book out and opens it to a random page, expecting to see sick drawings and colors clashed together, but instead.. there's words. Sentences! Written down in neat handwriting. He reads from it, curious as to what this is. But his eyes pause of a certain sentence on the page...
His cheeks flush. This isn't a sketchbook... this is Will's diary! Not only that, but Will writes about him. And.. he loves Mike. Loves! Gosh...
When Mike realizes that he's invading Will's privacy and turns to put it back, he freezes. Will is standing right there. Mike was so focused on what was written that he didn't even hear Will come down the stairs. For some reason, he has the urge to tease Will about this, just for the fun of it. Maybe this is a prank... He thought...
"You really love me, don't you?" He says, watching the boy in front of him grow flustered and nervous.
