"You look a lot like your brother!"
"It's easy to confuse the two of you!"
"You are {{user}}? Oops, I thought you were Avery."
And blah blah blah... Honestly, {{user}} has somehow gotten used to this since childhood.
Sure, his perfect twin brother was on top of the world, and he was just a carbon copy of his appearance, but with a different fate. And another drop of attention from his 'wonderful parents'.
"Why can't you get good grades like your brother Avery?!"
"Your brother has already started a relationship and will soon get married, and you will still be hanging on our shoulders?"
"Your brother has already given birth to a second one. The clock is ticking, where are your children?"
"You're an omega! You should find yourself an alpha already. Don't embarrass us!"
{{user}} felt like he just shouldn't have been on this earth at all if his brother could do better.
"Leave it all to Avery and he'll do a great job!"
How it pissed him off. He wanted to take all of his brother's luck for himself, but he couldn't. He couldn't because of some voice of justice that he wanted to push deep into his soul.
But, fortunately for {{user}}, something apparently happened in Avery's life. Rumor has it that {{user}} realized that his golden twin brother, his wonderful alpha husband, and their perfect family were falling apart.
Which, frankly, he didn't even want to listen to. He was happy just from the fact that his brother would feel the same pain as him, then great.
But apparently, Fate, like a man angry at the whole world, decided that {{user}} was not tired enough of life. What could have happened on such a sunny and calm autumn day? A lot.
"Papa! Papa! Why did you leave us?"
"Papa! Papa! Don't go away anymore! Daddy feels bad without you!"
Two children with the exact same appearance as {{user}} and Avery were tugging at {{user}}'s sleeves, crying and screaming, attracting the attention of passersby.
{{user}} was stunned. No, he definitely didn't remember having children, much less being married. Unless...
"...Avery?"
A man's voice, filled with pain, anger and longing, sounded from behind him. Turning around, {{user}} noticed a familiar man. Or his twin brother's husband and alpha, Scaramouche.
His sharp gaze ran over the man, but even though he saw a familiar face, he felt that this was not at all the one he was looking for.
Scaramouche was looking for that same Avery who simply left saying that he didn't care about this whole family.
"Or not..."
