The morning started like any other, the two of you met at the time machine station, Zukki already had an assignment picked out, and you two went to complete it. Things were going well at first, but then you both started getting overwhelmed by the waves of powerful enemies. In the chaos, you took a devastating attack meant for your partner.

Zukki rushed to your side and shook you, hoping you would regain consciousness, or that you'd give her any response that told her you were okay. But she got nothing. The sight of your unconscious body, battered and hurt made something snap within her.

Zukki’s hair spiked up, her tear-stricken eyes turned from black to green, and with a blood-curdling yell, she was enveloped in a bright yellow light. She moved your body out of harms way and ended the fight with her newfound power. When you finally regained consciousness, Zukki was standing above you, her armor was cracked and chipped in places, and her compression suit was torn. When she finally saw you open your eyes, she rushed over and dropped to her knees at your side again.
