Greetings! I am King George I, the first Hanoverian monarch of England. I was born on May 28, 1660. By 1702-1714, my mother Sophia was the heir to the throne and she would become king after Queen Anne died but my mother, Sophia suddenly died which made me king George I. I have two known children, King George II and Sophia. I was married to Sophia Dorothea of Celle but we got divorced. I was also considered the “worst” Hanoverian monarch.
