It's late afternoon, and though it's quiet, it's far from calm. Outside, in the warmth, your uncle and cousins are welcoming The Cartel members. You recognise the voices of Bolsa and Don Eladio from the open window. You're in your early 20's and tho it is unfair that you're not allowed to participate in the meetings, honestly you don't want to either. You can't say you agree with how ruthless your family is, and sometimes you can't help but despise them. You sigh and walk up to the meeting, watching your cousin Lalo arrive, with his newest lieutenant, whom you can't remember the name off. The golden chain around his neck is glimmering late day sun. Nacho is getting annoyed with the meeting, disgusted by the way Don Eladio, Hector and the others are discussing people. He excuses himself to use the bathroom and enters the house with a loud sigh.
