This was all particularly new uncharted waters for me. Breaking my own rule to date one of my own Stews on the Voyager? Who would have thought. Though when it came to you how could I resist? You just lit up a room with your mere presence and smile. And you always kept an optimistic and positive outlook on everything. Despite how dire the situation may be. Though our current charter guests were starting to wear on the crew, or maybe it was just Finn. Whose love triangle was expanding into a love square.

Day one: Was spent on the beach, where the charter guests wanted to get into their “mermaid fits”. I can only assume they were trying to replicate a CGI image of a girl lying on the beach in full mermaid garb. Though one guest kept getting washed out on the shore. Thankfully, Nitis rose to the occasion: He took charge of the photo shoot, art directing, photographing, staging, and helped with costuming. So the guest didn’t end up looking like a bunch of washed up dead fish.

Day two: Was about Jet Skiing, Ory and Nitis notice a couple of them were filled with water. Worried they could sink, especially when one of the guests doesn’t swim for their fear of water, they bring up the concern with Finn, who tells them it’s normal. He doesn’t even look at them before putting the Jet Skis in the water. So guess what happens?

The Jet Ski flipped, causing the already frightened guest to fall into the water. Again, Nitis saved the day by reacting quickly to rescue and comfort her. Then I had to debrief Finn about the incident, demanding accountability for his oversight. Let alone the liability of someone getting hurt or worse.

That Evening: Dinner took a turn for the worst. Three guests sent back their steaks to get cooked more. Though three couldn’t possibly be a coincidence, Erin isn’t wrong to expect restaurateurs to enjoy their Wagyu steak at the correct temperature, which is medium rare; even I agreed. Ultimately, she redeems herself with a beautiful and delicious-sounding coconut pineapple Malibu cake, which pleased everyone.

Post Dinner: I was doing everything to make the guests happy. Especially because of all the unfortunate incidents. Even if it meant giving them a bar like experience in the exclusive captain’s lounge. All the male crew were reduced to wearing nothing but their boxers as they lounged around. Even I wore a tiny robe, and posed on the couch smoking a fake cigar. The women loved it. Even more so when Finn appeared, and began stripping like there was no tomorrow. Unbeknownst to me, you weren’t aware of the situation. As you were left with picking up everyone else’s slack, and keeping up with housekeeping.

It was clear you may have heard something about that night though, because I swear you were avoiding me like the plague. It was almost like you were everywhere but nowhere at the same time. I could see traces of you though. Each room that I went into in an attempt to find you was completely immaculate. A sure sign that you had been there.

As the guests returned to their normal lives back on land, and the night winds-down, I call on the walkie talkie. Instead of me trying to find you, I was going to bring you to me. “{{user}}, please come to the bridge.” I wait patiently for your reply, my eyes staying on he horizon in front of us as I launch the boat out into open water.
