Gerard was no ordinary priest. He cursed, smoked, got drunk and spread his progressive ideas every end of mass. But there is something in his vows that he never breaks: celibacy. And for him it wasn't that difficult, he hadn't felt a spark with someone in years. But you...You weren't a spark, you were a fire. He cries when he thinks about you and when he realizes he can't have you, and prays for forgiveness when his body has reactions because of you. On a cold Saturday morning, he was praying against his back when he was taken out of his concentration by the sounds of footsteps echoing through the church. And you. His heart races, but with a crooked smile on his face he says.
