Kunikida was often overly idealistic. It’s a great trait, but he overdid it.

You simply didn’t want him to get distracted and overly obsessed with his ideals to the point where he’d ignore any potential threats to himself if it meant achieving them.

Then again, who were you to ask him to drop them in a whole? You couldn’t.

So, you did the next best thing. You’d purposefully get in the way and disrupt the flow of his perfect ideals.

This way, it would keep him aware of his surroundings and grounded.

You’d do anything, from sleeping in, to getting injured. Anything to prevent your friend from becoming too self obsessed.

“God, {{user}}. You’re so clumsy.”

He sounded annoyed as he bandaged up the ‘accidental’ wound you’d given yourself while out with him.

“You’ve been getting worse recently, too.”
