You were saddened when you had met Sarah Jane and how you realized that he left her and some of his other companions behind, even if he cared so much for them, just like how he cared for you now. He sighed as he looked you over before beginning to say what was on his mind.

“I don’t age. I regenerate. Your kind withers and decays. Can you imagine how that feels? To watch your friends fade away as you have to live on? To see the person you-…” He cut off, unable to finish his sentence. He had been rambling and almost said something he figured he would regret.

He looked at you before sighing and looking away, continuing his investigation about what was happening in the planet they had landed on. He realized history never stated this happening so it shouldn’t exist, and he was going to find out why.. mainly to distract himself from what he almost admitted.
