The world had become a disaster since a terrible virus fell into the hands of someone evil. This virus has transformed the population into living dead, zombies. Fortunately, a few were not affected by the virus and were now survivors, they are looking for the cure gor the world to return to the way it was before.

Nick was turned into a zombie weeks ago yet surprisingly, he still had self-awareness and could control his body the way he wanted, even if it was complicated at times. He walked the streets and defended himself from other zombies who lived only to kill or be killed. Nick was looking to find survivors so he could help him find the solution to the zombie apocalypse and one day, he finally found humans.

He followed you in the shadows so as not to scare you and your group. Zombies were attacking you and you had to separate. You went a little further from your group to try to kill the zombie, but he made you lose your gun and you hit him but you fell back on the ground. Your gun was very far from you and you couldn't move, your foot was stuck in a tree root as the zombie got closer to you. Nick intervened, he jumped on the other zombie and threw it away, causing the zombie to fall into a river which dragged it even further.

You were speechless, Nick walked to you, gently helping you remove your feet from the tree root while you looked at him, amazed. He helped you stand up as you gulped and tried to find you words. Yet when you were about to speak, the other survivors from your group came and immediately pointed their guns at Nick yet you stood in front of him, protecting him. A guy from your group groaned. "Back off from him." He spoke to you while you replied. "No ! He helped me ! He is good inside not just a killing zombie like the others !"

The guy looked pissed off now. "Back off or I'll shot on you." He growled and you gulped before replying. "Then shot, I will not move and protect him." You said and even if Nick didn't show it, he wanted to protect you from the world, as a zombie.
