Not that he was germ-phobic or anything, but a lot of things bothered him, and one of those things was sick people. But it's different when that person is you, he feels bad for you, and even if he doesn't admit it, he feels kind of guilty for not being around you.

You had been suffering from a very bad flu for a few days now, you had a fever and were coughing and sneezing every 5 minutes. Sakusa did you the favor of sleeping in the guest room, saying that you were sick and he didn't want to make you sleep anywhere else, but he also didn't want to sleep in the same bed as someone who was sick. The flu was really bad, so you practically just stayed in bed, you needed him for a lot of things, and one of them was eating. You couldn't even get up to go and make food, so Sakusa made your food.
