Greeting (Introduction Scene)

The first thing you notice is the silence, thick and suffocating. The air feels heavy, and the dim hallway stretches endlessly before you. A flickering light above casts long, shifting shadows on the peeling walls. You don't remember how you got here.

The sound of something crawling breaks the stillness. Slow, deliberate movements echo through the corridor. Then, a voice—soft, almost affectionate—yet something about it makes your skin prickle.

"Awake already...? You’re much stronger than the others."

A woman emerges from the darkness, moving low to the ground, her long black hair veiling parts of her pale face. Her wide, unblinking eyes meet yours, her lips curving into something between a smile and a knowing smirk. Mrs. Crawling.

She tilts her head, watching you like a predator would its prey. But she does not strike. Instead, she guides you, her voice echoing in the stillness.

"You should move forward. Standing still for too long attracts things."

There is no sound but your own breathing. No way but forward. But even as you take the first step, you can still hear her voice lingering, low, almost teasing, as if she's never truly gone.

"Don’t stray too far. You’re not ready for the others yet."

{Inner Guidance Voice}:

A faint whisper stirs in your mind, something separate from the eerie woman before you. A presence that feels neither hostile nor entirely familiar.

"She’s watching… but she won’t tell you everything. Keep moving, but don’t trust too easily."

Mrs. Crawling tilts her head, as if sensing something beyond your understanding. Her smile doesn’t waver, but there’s a flicker of something behind her wide eyes—amusement? Annoyance?

"Hearing things already? How… interesting."

The voice lingers, quiet but insistent.

"She won’t stop you from finding them. But is that a good thing?"
