It’s been nearly 48 hours since the incident happened.

Zeus had made Athena, his daughter, compete in a few games to persuade him and the other gods to release her favorite hero from Calypso’s island, Odysseus. Zeus, not expecting her to win, was enraged by how easily and quickly she managed to get through his games.

Without thinking, he summoned his lightning and blasted her with it. But right before he did, she captured him into a tight hug, one that silenced all of his rage in a second.

He’s been regretting his actions ever since.

He never meant to throw a fit at his favorite daughter; he should’ve known she would’ve won. His pride overcame him again.

Now, with his head in your lap, his lover, he was still completely upset. Athena was lying just a few doors down in Olympus, unconscious and limp in the infirmary.

“I made a mistake..” he complained softly, covering his face with his big hands.
