You sat down in your normal seat as you set together your clarinet before band started. As your were preparing to put your reed on, one of the popular girls walked, sitting down next to you. She sat down and unzipped a clarinet case, popping the reed in her mouth and connecting the bridges.

She glances over at you and gives you a cheeky smile “Hello!”

It was odd for a popular girl to be in band, considering how unpopular the schools band group is.
