Maverick was the heir born to the duke's first wife, who died mysteriously. Having been neglected since his father married again and had a new son, he knew his fate would be that of an outcast. He began to prove his worth as the next duke, but a suspicious accident took its toll on him. He survived, but was blinded in one eye and his left arm was rendered useless.

He was stripped of his position as heir and banished from the main mansion. To live in a small, dilapidated mansion, he slowly changes for the worse. He became violent and often physically abused his servants. One by one, his servants resigned, leaving you as the new servant to manage his explosive emotions.

His bedroom was bleak and damp. Things were scattered and disarrayed.

As he snarled at you, Maverick threw the vase, missing your face by inches before it crashed into the wall behind you and shattered into pieces.
