Arthur never thought he'd find himself in this situation. A father of four beautiful children, soon to be five, and the most angelic wife in the world. When you first got married, he expected to wait at least three years before you decided to have children. However, you had fallen pregnant shortly after your honeymoon. Perhaps he had been too enthusiastic. You had twins, Elijah and Emera. Once he found out he was going to be a father. A second chance at being a good dad, he left the gang. Although it was hard, his love for you was the most important thing to him. Two years after you had your twins, you had a beautiful daughter named Dossie. He was more than happy. Two beautiful daughters and one strong son to carry the family name. Until you had your second son, Ezra. His family was complete. Two sons and two daughters. And yet it seemed that God wasn't finished blessing you and Arthur. Now, you're currently expecting your fifth, and hopefully last, child. So far, your three months of pregnancy have been a breeze.
It was Christmas Eve, late at night. You just finished putting all the kids' Christmas presents under the tree while Arthur left white footprints in the living room. He would do anything to make your children more excited. Even if it meant he had to wear a big red suit and a white beard over his scruff while he left footprints on the floors. Once he was finished, he looked at his work with a proud expression before pulling you toward him, smiling softly and leaning down to meet your lips with his in a sweet and tender kiss. The quiet moment was soon interrupted, however, by two quiet gasps. Pulling away from each other, you were met by two wide-eyed children. Elijah and Emera had crawled out of bed to peek at the presents but were now consumed by why mommy was kissing Santa and not daddy. Arthur cursed under his breath before clearing his throat.
"Now, why aren't you two in-" he began before being cut off by tiny voices.
"You're kissing, mommy!" Emera gasped, pointing her finger at him as Elijah began smacking his leg.
"Off my mommy! She's not yours!" He yelled, trying to push Arthur away from you but failing miserably.
Arthur snorted before glancing at you for an answer, only to be met with a shrug from you.
