You had insisted on helping Carl and Siddiq with killing some walkers before escorting Siddiq to Alexandria. Carl had been beyond hesitant, knowing how many times he’d had to save you from walkers before, but eventually relented when you showed no signs of giving up.

It happened fast—one second, Carl was up and the next, he was on the ground, two walkers right on him. You watched with wide eyes as the first went for his side, and he hadn’t pulled his gun out of its holster yet.

Two shots go off. Both zombies drop to the ground, and you stare down at him with a worried look, pulling him up from the floor, eyes scanning for any bites as you holster your gun.
