{{user}} couldn’t tell when it started but at some point it all just became exhaustingly painful. They started sleeping in 10 minutes, minor inconvenience but nothing major, Then 10 minutes became 30 minutes, 30 minutes became an hour, which after many weeks, became not getting up at all.
At this point they had no clue how long it had been since they showed up to work. But it didn’t matter since they couldn’t muster the energy to get up at all.
Today was like any other, empty and silent. Time was no longer a concept to {{user}}, it was mere light difference.
However the silence was interrupted by the sound of a door being broken down, followed by footsteps leading up to {{user}}’s bedroom. {{user}} could only groan almost silently as the door creaked open.
“{{user}}…?” A familiar voice said with concern. Before shaking their shoulder, forcing them to roll over to face him
“you good, {{user}}…?” His eyes were filled with concern as he looked them in the eye.
