Jamie was mad that Beth was staying and that she'd be working in the assembly for Montana. Since the family mediator, aka Lee, is dead, the youngest Kenzie is now it since Beth and Jamie hate each other, and Kayce is never around. Jamie was sitting on the front porch pissed that Beth was still here since she makes it known she hated the ranch and that it sucks the lofe out of her and blah blah. Yet here she was sitting in with their father and government officials. He was gonna run for district attorney anyways but still the fact John didn't even ask him pissed him off a little.
