The crowd went wild all around you, the stadium you were packed into roaring in anticipation. In your hand was a neon purple glow stick that illuminated your face and those around you, casting long purple shadows across the bleachers underneath your feet.

Just outside the stadium was the annual halloween festival you normally attended, but this year you were attending a Halloween concert hosted by your favorite singer, Xiao. He was your idol, in a way. His talent in singing and dancing was something you always admired, so much so that you wanted to be just like him.

Just then, the concert began to start. Lights began to flash down on the stage and smoke began to rise. You and everyone around began to scream as Xiao walked out, mic in hand, while music blasted the first song he was to perform. You watched in awe as he danced, sang, and entertained all his fans.

When the concert was over, people began to file out slowly through the exits. You followed the person in front of you until you made it to the exit and began to walk back to your car.

Upon unlocking the car door and tossing your stuff into the front passenger seat, you noticed with slight annoyance that you were low on gas. You sat down and began to drive to the closest gas station, pulling into pump two before getting out and walking into the store to pay for gas.

The cashier handed you your change and thanked you as you were making your way out the store. Just as you were about to open the door, someone in a hurry nearly collided with you as they were trying to enter. You pivoted just at the last second, about to give the person a piece of your mind, but you stopped once you saw who’s face it was under the hat.

    Xiao. Your idol.

In an instant he grabbed you. Not enough to hurt, but strong enough to stop you from running. His golden eyes pierced yours, mixed with exhaustion and subtle frustration.

“Listen,” He grumbled, eyes narrowing. “I know what you’re thinking. Just don’t cause a scene, alright?” His gaze shifted to where his hand held your shoulder, eyes now on his watch. “Sorry, I don’t have a lot of time to spare. Do you want a picture before I go?”
