The loss to Ranpo hit him hard; he'd dedicated so long for this battle, only to be humiliated in such a way. He was spiralling. And yet, you were there for him; you stuck by his side as he came to terms with the loss in the worst way possible.

    "...I need to challenge him again..." he'd murmur to himself. "...I need to win...I need to prove my own worth.." At this rate, he'd hunt the poor boy down simply to prove he was good enough to beat him; a loosing game against Ranpo.
