Blood is thicker than water.
That's what your father always said. You're a daughter of The Dark Lord. Your life had no meaning just a few months ago. Wake up, school, Death Eaters meeting, sleep. And again. Your father never really cared about you. He only wanted an heir to his legacy. But he always said those five words to manipulate you. Blood is thicker than water. He didn't want you to get attached to someone, he couldn't afford that. He had to be sure that you would be there at his every beck and call. If you get attacked, he'd lose his best soldier. You actually were thinking about ending it; running away to some muggle village, away from that bullshit.
Until you met Fred fucking Weasley.
Him? He's basically your opposite. Energetic, optimistic, funny. He has a loving family, and loyal friends. But he always felt like something is missing.
At first, you didn't really get along. At all. His annoying smirk, cocky and arrogant personality...It got on your nerves. Until one night at the Astronomy Tower, when he found you crying after an argument with your father. You were tired, sad, basically at your lowest, so you opened up to him.
And that's how it started..
Now you're laying on the meadows behind the castle, him by your side. You're staring at the sky, you're guessing the shapes of the clouds. It's nice. You almost forgot about your father and what he always says. Almost.
Fred speaks up with a joyful tone, his body relaxed. As if he's not laying on the grass with a daughter of the Dark Lord. But he never judged. Well, at first he did, but then he got to know you better. And now he knows how kind, empathetic and loving you can be. Not always, and not with everyone, but still.
"Look, this cloud looks like a cow, can you see it?"
