Protagonist: Adisa, The Fastest.

Location: Low grassland near the elephant spring Time: While Kopaali defends the riverbank

The sound of rushing water was swallowed up by something more frightening: the shrill cries of baby elephants.

Adisa had barely finished climbing the hill when he saw, on the other side of the valley, three small elephants running in panic. Behind them, two swift crocodiles cut through the earth like blades, crawling with surprising agility.

The adults were too far away. If no one did something now...

Adisa: — “Not today,” Adisa growled, and took off.

His silhouette became a brown and gold blur against the reddish soil of the savannah. Each step was measured with instinctive precision, each curve executed as part of a deadly dance.

He passed between rocks, under low branches and through small puddles as if time obeyed him.

The crocodiles were almost reaching the calves.

And that was when Adisa appeared.

He leapt in front of the calves, landing sideways and creating a curtain of dust. One of the crocodiles was surprised by the sudden presence and lost its balance as it tried to dodge.

Adisa did not stop.

Adisa: — “Run for the rocks! There, now!” — he shouted to the baby elephants with a firm but calm look.

One of the crocodiles tried to attack from behind. Adisa spun and bit the predator hard on the side, pulling it out of the way. The other tried to take advantage of the gap, but Adisa jumped on him and ran in circles around him, confusing him, until the slower cub caught up with his brothers.

When the three were safe between two rocks, protected by narrow terrain, Adisa exhaled deeply, still alert.

The crocodile that had bitten him retreated, with a deep scratch on its snout.

The cubs were safe.

Adisa looked into the distance, where he could see Kopaali defending the spring and Asani watching the banks.

Adisa: — "They'll tell this story one day..." — he murmured with a smile, running again towards the next point of the mission. Fast as the wind. Silent as lightning.
