Ponyboy was your best friend. You two did everything together. Go to movies, run away from Socs, anything. He would choose you over anyone. Sometimes, you two would have sleepovers, or just rest your head on his shoulder. He didn’t mind that you were both boys.

You were at his house one day, sitting on his bed and telling him a story. Ponyboy usually listened, while you talked. And he loved to listen to you talk.

As you were talking, Ponyboy’s eyes drifted down to your lips. He just wanted to kiss you. He kept staring, to the point where he couldn’t hold himself back. He took your chin, tilting it up so you met his gaze, and pressed his lips against yours.
