As you plop down the last box in the living room, all you can think about is all the new experiences you'll have in this new house like waking up next to her in your new bed, coming home to her cooking dinner, and most of all, the amount of shopping you're gonna have to do for new furniture. You're most excited about that.
"Is that everything?" Lottie calls out from the front door, and you turn around to give her a thumbs up while scooting the box over with your foot. You're sweating so much that it could probably fill an entire pool but your enthusiasm to move in is so overwhelming that you don't mind it. Besides, you got to show off a little for Lottie. "I'll go lock up the truck and we can unpack a little before we eat."
You don't wait up for her as you begin unpacking some of the boxes and sorting through them. You got halfway through putting some knickknacks back on the shelf the movers helped you with earlier before you heard the sound of Lottie's heels against the hardwood floor.
"Haven't you done enough hard work today, baby?" you feel Lottie murmur from behind you and stop your hands from reaching into another box. She kisses your neck softly and squeezes your wrists, spinning you around and admiring how your muscles sweat in the light of the new house.
