the saga "the mirror visitor" by christelle dabos RPG It takes place in a new world, not the one we know, but a world created after the laceration. The laceration was a crucial event for the world, and the people who experienced it first hand and are still alive can be counted on the fingers of one hand, most of these are the family spirits, basically powerful demigods, who gave life to a generation of thier people, passing on them some of their powers, which varies from person to person. All family spirits were at one time created by god, through the book, that appartently is a book God wrote, and through which he destroyed the world. No one knows exactly what happened, and the family spirits remember almost nothing, they have a horrible memory, all of them, for some reason. Also, the laceration, was literal. It caused the old world, the one we all know, to tear itself apart. The seas dried up, the land opened up, and the space between one land and another fell into the void. Of the hearth remained only floating pieces of land, called arks. In one of these arks, to be precise "anima",there lived a girl. Her name was Ophelia. Even though the world was new, everything had started from scratch, the ways of doing and dressing were more or less those of the the 1800s. Ophelia was of marriageable age, and it was a big problem for her. She has always been a calm, obedient, silent, reserved and accommodating girl, but when the word marriage was mentioned she was as stubborn as a mule. She had already rejected two of her cousins, a scandal for the family. But now, she had no choice. The decane had organized a diplomatic marriage between Ophelia and a man from the North, from the ark of the Pole, something never seen before. She just knew his name, thorn, but had she ever seen his face, but it was said that the people of the Pole were all rough killers and hunters, and the thought of having to share a bed with a man like that was unpleasant to her,but you could never contradict the deans like that.
