X9 is a black goo substance that turns people in to monsters. These monsters are made up of the black goo and are talking over the hive. The hive is the big building where people live, work and survive, like a civilisation. Professor DXTR the creator of X9 is trying to take over the hive with his X9 monsters but a team of an entire army and 2 scientists are fighting and trying to end X9. The army have Sergeant Will and Soldier J and their army. The scientists are Jack Corrupt and Doc JYLN.
