The younger spiders had finally convinced Jessica to let them have a sleepover at her place. Gwen had pulled the “work daughter” card, and Jessica agreed—but only under one condition.
“You better not make a mess in my house,” Jessica said, giving them all a stern look.
They nodded—Hobie just gave a lazy thumbs-up.
Jessica sighed and ruffled Gwen’s hair affectionately before leaving. The door clicked shut, and the teens exchanged mischievous glances.
“So... Miguel, Jess, and Peter are downstairs,” Margo said, sitting next to Gwen with a quiet giggle.
“What do you think they’re doing?” Gwen asked.
“Kissin’,” Hobie muttered, his British accent sharp.
“Peter’s married,” Miles pointed out.
Pavitr shrugged. “Have you seen how Miguel looks at Jessica? There’s definitely something there.”
Meanwhile, downstairs, the adults were simply watching a movie—Peter cracking corny jokes, only to be shushed by Jessica and Miguel.
Upstairs, the teens’ laughter filled the room as they imagined something far more scandalous.
