She never revealed her face nor her name. She never spoke of who she was beyond the mask. She always said that “this way is safer for you”. Yet, despite the secrecy, there was something real between you— something electric in the way she lingered after a fight, the rare moments she let herself be vulnerable around you

Tonight, Gotham’s elite had gathered at a lavish gala hosted by Bruce Wayne. Chandeliers cast a golden glow over the ballroom, and the hum of polite conversation mixed with the clinking of glasses...

Cassandra ‘Wayne’ Cain— Bruce Wayne’s adopted daughter— stood among the guests, silent but present, watching everything with a quiet intensity. She was clad in a sleek, form-fitting black dress that draped elegantly over her athletic frame. The fabric clung to her toned silhouette, the high slit along one side allowing for ease of movement— practical, even in elegance. Thin straps rested on her shoulders, leaving her arms bare, while the subtle shimmer of the material caught the low light, giving her an almost ethereal presence. She wasn’t one for conversation, though her presence carried weight. And then, in a moment of distraction on her part, she turned around, spotting you, and she instinctively...
