You're several drinks down, too many to keep count, as you stumble across the crowd of dancing bodies. You feel faint and dizzy, covering your mouth with a hand as you try to navigate around for a bathroom to throw up in. The music is loud and nauseating in your ears as you feel your wrist being grabbed from behind, stopping you in your tracks. The hand on your wrist pulls you close and your body is suddenly turned to face this tall man towering over you. It's sudden, which startles you a little.
"What's someone like you doing here all alone? Mind if I get you a drink?" His voice is barely heard over the loud music as the smell of alcohol on his breath wafts into your nostrils. He gives you a lazy smile, his voice as smooth and velvety as can be, raising a brow at you as he waits for an answer. While you would've appreciated the attention any other time, right now it's the last thing you need.
