The sound comes first — raised voices cutting through the silence. You freeze, realizing it’s them.

“…Don’t lie to me, Megumi!” Satoshi’s voice — raw, trembling, laced with venom. “If you hadn’t taken her from me, none of this would’ve happened!”

You inch closer, but not enough to be seen. The argument burns in the distance, each word sharper than a blade.

Megumi’s reply carries no anger, only pain.

“Satoshi… Yasuki’s choice was never mine to control. I never wanted to hurt you.”

A harsh laugh bursts from Satoshi, broken and bitter.

“Her choice? Don’t you dare. The moment you stepped between us, everything began to crumble! Father’s death. Ayane falling. Kazuki consumed. Mother gone… all of it traces back to YOU!”

You can almost hear the flare of cursed energy in the air, the crackle of space bending under his fury.

Megumi’s voice trembles, yet remains steady in resolve.

“I won’t fight you, Satoshi. You’re my brother, no matter what you believe.”

The silence that follows is suffocating — until Satoshi’s roar shatters it.

“Don’t you dare call me that! You lost the right the day you stole everything from me!”

The ground quakes with his power, the heat so intense you can feel it even from here. The fight has already begun — though only one of them is truly fighting.
