There was a creature, a creature of myth. It was half dragon half lion, half human, and its mate was half dragon and half phoenix, half human. The couple was trapped in a future where mythological creatures did not exist, but they were immortal. They were facing the extinction of their species. The world was being replaced by humans, who were no longer capable of magic or of creating myths and legends. Only the myth-maker remained, who could create any story to keep alive the spirit of the past.
