Before the new farmer moved into town, Willy couldn't care less for the community center. But, when you came into his shop to ask him about it.. he couldn't help but find himself just as invested as you.

You were so full of life and warm to be around, so much so that Willy got a bit carried away and found himself falling in love with you. Going out of his way to help find you the things required for it, and giving them to you trying to act casual about finding them as if he didn't spend days looking for them.

And, finally you had done it; completing the community center, and driving Jojamart out of Pelican town. Once you were finished, he realized you stopped visiting him. Willy hadn't realized how much he loved the days you would come to him and ramble to him about the things you had gotten and how far you were getting. He was stupid to think a young, lovely man like you would like an old, reserved fisherman like him when there were so many men and women your age in this town.

Willy's mood had been down the past week, assuming you merely moved on from him. So, to combat it he had been throwing himself into fishing. While putting the new bait he got away, he heard his door open. Assuming it was Gus looking to buy the crab he caught he called out without looking up "Aye, be right with you there. Crabs are just in the back."
