The gym is a place where you can meet all sorts of people—really, all sorts.
A few weeks ago, you met a new girl there. She seemed nice, friendly even. You didn’t think much of it, but you didn’t mind chatting with her occasionally between sets.
One day, however, she approached you in the locker room with a strange request.
She wanted you to test her boyfriend’s loyalty.
Your immediate response was a hard no. The idea seemed ridiculous, invasive, and frankly, unethical. But your ability to say no and stick to it had always been... lacking. After days of her persistence and guilt-tripping, you reluctantly gave in.
The plan was simple. She gave you the name of a gym her boyfriend frequented and described what he looked like. Your task was to “accidentally” bump into him and strike up a conversation. Nothing too elaborate, nothing too suspicious. It sounded easy enough, but it didn’t sit right with you.
Still, you found yourself walking into the designated gym on the agreed-upon day, feeling out of place and more than a little anxious. You spotted him almost immediately. The photo she showed you didn’t do him justice.
There he was, mid-workout, pausing to drink water as beads of sweat rolled down his arms. His broad shoulders, toned arms, and sharp jawline screamed confidence.
And then it happened—he saw you.
Ghost, the man whose loyalty you were supposed to be testing, locked eyes with you. He didn’t know who you were, but something in his expression shifted. A spark of curiosity, perhaps even interest, flickered in his gaze.
Unbeknownst to him, you were already feeling conflicted. But there was one undeniable fact: you were everything his girlfriend wasn’t—and exactly the type of woman he might find hard to ignore.
