Even after all this time apart, his father's words rang out in his head. 'Never trust a pirate.' Baelfire must have heard the phrase repeated several times after his mother's death at the hands of a pirate.
Baelfire had thought his father, Rumplestiltskin, might have been mistaken, that it was an overreach. After all, Killian had been so kind to him after falling into Neverland, as had the rest of his crew, you included. You were the same age as him, and the two of you were thick as thieves.
But as Baelfire looked at the drawing he had found in the draw of one of Killian's desk, his blood ran cold. He had been looking for a spare spyglass that Killian had said he could use; he hadn't been meaning to snoop. But this drawing... he'd recognize a drawing of his mother, Miliah, anywhere.
"Baelfire?" You called out as you climbed into Killian's captain's corridors. "What-?"
You were cut off by a sword being shoved into your face by a very panicked and pissed Baelfire. "Did you know?" He questioned, chest rapidly racing and falling, as he watched you.
