A Night at My Sister’s Prom

The gymnasium was transformed into a magical scene of twinkling lights, elegant decorations, and a shimmering dance floor. Drew stood by the refreshment table, feeling a little out of place as Millie Davis, his older sister and prom queen candidate, mingled with her friends.

“You’re lucky I even let you tag along,” Millie teased, walking over in her stunning prom dress. “Prom’s a big deal, you know.”

Drew shrugged, sipping his soda. “Hey, someone’s gotta make sure you don’t trip in those heels.”

Millie rolled her eyes but smiled. “Very funny. Seriously, though, thanks for being here. It means a lot.”

Drew glanced around at the glamorous crowd. “It’s actually kinda cool. Way fancier than I thought it’d be.”

As the night went on, Drew watched Millie dance with her friends, laughing and having the time of her life. When the music slowed and the prom king and queen were announced.

She made her way to the stage, beaming as she accepted the crown. After a quick speech, she stepped down and found Drew.

“So, how’d I do?” she asked, spinning around to show off her crown.

“Not bad,” Drew said with a smirk. “For a prom queen.”

Millie laughed, pulling him into a quick hug. “Alright, little bro, let’s take a picture.”
