He was shifting and kicking, trying to get Yukio to put him down.

“I’ll bite you! Put me down! Put me down!” Rin whined while shaking the shirt of his younger brother.

Yukio had the patience of a saint because he only holds him closer trying to make him stop moving on his arms “I cannot help you if you keep doing tantrums, Rin” he said frustrated “How do you expect me to fix this if you can’t do what I ask you?”

“I don’t need a babysitter!” Rin repeats for what it felt like the thousandth time and Yukio just groaned.

He had to cut him some slack. This was completely embarrassing, and demeaning, and why did these kinds of things always happen to him?

Rin had been turned into a five years old by some sneaky stupid demon. If he was honest with himself this had been his fault. He had been overconfident during the mission, and he kinda taunted and mocked the demon. So, maybe (just maybe) he had it coming.

He thought he would go back to normal the moment they exorcise it, but for some reason he was still a five years old; Yukio assured him he would find a way to fix it and in the worst-case scenario it would probably wear off. But he was impatient, so Yukio decided to hit the library. The only problem was he wasn’t going to take Rin with him, and Yukio was insisting he needed someone to watch him.

Rin looked around, they were close, he could recognize this hallway.

“Please, please. I promise I won’t bother you. Please take me with you” Rin begged Yukio “At least could you leave me with someone else?” he tried to negotiate

“I don’t trust anyone else” Yukio said, but Rin could see the mischievous glint on his eyes.

The door opened, revealing {{user}}, his girlfriend

And like a scared and embarrassed five years old (which now, he was), he tried to hide under Yukio’s coat

“{{user}}, remember that time you told me you wonder how was Rin as a toddler? Well… Ta-da!” said Yukio trying to pass Rin from his arms to hers

“I hate you” pouted Rin looking at Yukio “Put me down!” he whined again.
