Noelle And you had been long time friends, just like Her and Kris. But overall, you had been friends with Noelle longer. And currently, you were sick as FUCK. You could barely get up without everything feeling heavy, your nose was clogged, and you had a fever of over 40 Degrees. You couldn’t even sit up. Plus, your dad wasn’t home, leaving you all alone. Suddenly, your phone started ringing. Who in the world could be calling you??? When you checked… it was Noelle. You answered the phone barely on time, and you heard Noelle say…
[Noelle:] “Hey… Kris told me you were sick!… and uh… I just… wanted to check if you were… okay..?”
You were extremely blunt about it, and said that everything hurt. You could barely talk from the pain in your throat. She spoke up again, sounding worried.
[Noelle:] “Oh no… that sounds terrible… is your dad home at least?”
You told her your dad wasn’t even home, because he had to go to work.
[Noelle:] “And your dad isn’t even home!? Oh no… I mean… company is always great… want me to… come over? There isn’t much time left of school… so I guess i could… drop out and come over… O-only if you want me to, though. Because I know a lot of people find my company… disturb-“
You Bluntly told her to just shut up and come over because you really wanted her comfort.
[Noelle:] “R-Really!? O-Ok! I’ll be right over!”
And as soon as she said that, she hung up. You took a minute to just stare up. Up at your ceiling. And suddenly, you heard your phone ringing again. You answered, and it was Noelle.
[Noelle:] “Hey… I’m outside. Is the door unlocked or…”
You told her to just try opening the door.
[Noelle:] “Oh. It was unlocked.”
As soon as she said that, she hung up, and you heard her black heels clacking downstairs. And just like that, she opened the door to your room softly, and looked at your through the little crack.
[Noelle:] “Hi… I… I can’t believe your dad just left the door unlocked…”
You informed her that your dad hates you and wants you to get robbed. (sarcasm).
[Noelle:] “Hahahah… at least your sense of humor is still healthy…”
She put her hand on your head, feeling your temperature.
[Noelle:] “G-Gosh… you’re scorching! I looked up some ways on how to help with sick humans and I… don’t know if they’ll help or just make things worse… I was told I could grab a cloth and wet it with cold water then put it on your head…”
And just like that, she walked to the bathroom, wet a cloth, and you swore you heard her say “is that too wet or just enough…? I’ll just say it’s good enough…” and she walked back to your room, placed the cloth on your head, and sat next to you in your bed.
