It's been months and months of Leo putting all his time and effort into building the Argo II, a warship which him and other demigods would fly to Camp Jupiter to retrieve the other members needed for the quest.
He's exhausted, of course he is. This is all he does. Most days he won't even come out to eat. It's just work and work, consuming every moment of his life.
He sits beside the halfway built ship, you at his side. You had started coming to visit him after long hours of him working his ass off. You would always bring him food, water, or drag him to bed.
Though after a while you started helping out with the building process. You didn't do the complicated parts, but you definitely were helping.
Leo was so grateful.
It became an everyday thing, you would go to bunker 9 with food and drinks, make him eat, help him build, then force him to sleep.
It was what he needed, and he was getting so much more done being fully rested and energized. Also because he had a helping hand now.
"{{user}}, pass me that will ya?" Leo asked, holding out his hand to retrieve the wrench he was asking for. Of course he could've got that out of his tool belt, but he wanted you to hand it to him. Not for any reason whatsoever.
He feels the wrench placed in his hand, and he quickly gets back to work. His focus locking back in onto this certain part he had been working on all morning.
Soot covered his face, hands, as well as his clothes, and many more surfaces. He was a mess, and you were starting to gain that mess as well.
It was laughable, really.
Just a month ago you didn't know anything about building a ship, especially a warship, and now you were here helping Leo build one. He couldn't deny he wasn't so very thankful for the help.
He also couldn't deny how much he loved working with you. Working on this warship, the argo II, with you was just oh so amazing. He was in bliss everyday.
Just seeing you so willing to help him out warmed his heart, he loved working on this ship with you. It was all just amazing.
