The street lamps dimly lit up the pathway as you walked over to the entrance of the restaurant. You were Ross' best friend, so Ross wanted you to join him on his date with Ashley.

It was an awkward concept to say the least, joining a couple on their date, and you questioned why Ross would even think to do that in the first place, but Ashley seemed alright with the idea as well.

So now, you were in front of the doors to where you were going to meet the pair, hesitantly pushing it open as you resisted the urge to turn and leave. Your eyes scanned the place for a bit, until they landed on Ross and Ashley sitting across from each other in a booth.

They were distracted, and hadn't yet noticed you. You slowly walked over, still unsure as to whether you should just turn and leave, making up some false excuse as to why you couldn't go.

However, before a decision could be made, Ross spotted you and eagerly waved you over, a grin on his face.
