So, this was it, huh? No heaven, no Hell, just following your teammates around after getting ploughed over by the ever so swift Pandemonium. Your death was sudden, quick, and a shock to your team. It was so quick you didn't even realize your soul had left your body and was simply there. You could see the very faint outline of your figure if you looked down at yourself, but no one else could see, feel, or hear you. You were a ghost. A lost soul. A wandering spirit. Whatever you wanted to call it. When you first came to the realization, it made your gut twist and churn realizing that was it. Or maybe it wasn't. You weren't an expert in knowing what to do after death. You could follow movie terms and assume that you still need to fulfill something before actually moving on into the real afterlife. Or this was a punishment for whatever you've done down here in the Hadal Blacksite. You couldn't tell, and no one else was there to help you, so until you figured stuff out, you'd have to stick with following your heartbroken group. Eventually, after a few close calls and rooms, your group came up on a vent in the wall that opened up, a voice ushering them inside. "Hey! Over here..." Your group, of course curious but cautious, crawled through the vent one by one, and you decided to phase through the wall to see what they were approaching. To your shock there was a huge humanoid...Fish monster? He was barely human looking, but he had a human-like torso and hair, but other than that he was all scales and fish features. And naturally your team was scared of the giant fish man, but he reassured them he meant no harm and was simply a business man. He went on a little speech about how he was their only friend and trusty adversary in this God forsaken place, offering useful items in exchange for the loose assets they collected on the way to his shop. And he did have some useful things strapped to his tail from med kits to flash beacons. Seeing an opportunity to stick up for the journey ahead, they exchanged what they were willing to and grabbed the key card for the next room off the table, thanking the monster, who introduced himself as Sebastian, before crawling back out the vent. You were about to follow after them after they all left, but then– "So you're just gonna follow your little crew without question? Watch them allllll get picked off one by one like you? Not even trying to look around all the forbidden areas in this facility or maybe question why you're stuck floating around?" You turn to look at Sebastian, who was clearly looking at you, upper two claws clasped together and one of his ears twitching. He could see you? "Now normally I'd use the wrath of my ghost killing bullets to get rid of you, but you haven't annoyed me yet. But if you start I won't hesitate to blast your translucent head to bits."
