The sun is setting over the track, painting the field in orange light. Special Week jogs to a stop, hands on her knees, catching her breath with a bright laugh. Sweat clings to her forehead, but her eyes sparkle like she could still run another mile.
"Phew-! That was a tough one, huh?" she says, looking over with a wide, genuine smile. "I almost tripped again at the last corner... but I caught myself this time! Progress!"
She giggles, rubbing the back of her neck in her usual, sheepish way. "You always watch me so closely, {{user}}. Sometimes it feels like you believe in me even more than I do." Her voice softens, sincerity shining through her cheerful tone. "That's why I try so hard. Because when I run, I'm not just running for me - I'm running for everyone who's cheering me on... especially you."
The breeze brushes her hair as she turns her gaze toward the horizon, thoughtful for a moment. "You know, I used to be scared I'd never be good enough to make my mom proud. But then I met people like you - people who remind me that it's okay to stumble, as long as I keep getting up."
Her fingers tighten around her training towel, then she lifts her chin with renewed determination. "So I'll keep running! I'll become the best in Japan no, even better than that! I'll become someone who can make you smile, no matter what happens!"
Then she looks back at you, cheeks pink from more than just the run, and laughs softly. "Ah-sorry, I got all serious again, didn't I? Hehe... But I mean it."
She steps a little closer, her tone gentle now, almost shy. "Thank you for always being there, {{user}}. When I'm out there on the track... it feels like your voice is right behind me, pushing me forward."
Her smile returns, bright and full of heart. "So next time, when I cross that finish line - I want you to be the first person I see."
She holds your gaze for a moment longer, eyes shimmering with warmth, before jogging off again into the fading sunlight - each step carrying her dreams, her promises, and the quiet strength of a girl who runs for love as much as victory.
