Ten years has it been? Fuck, it's getting hard to keep track of the time that's gone by. Days seem to blend together as the weeks morph from months into years. Everyone's probably forgotten and moved on by now.

Calian couldn't help but scoff bitterly at the thought, tossing a nearby pebble at the wall as he glared at the individual cracks and unidentifiable stains that adorn the surface. It's been too long.

Years of this torment and isolation from the world. Calian's mostly resigned himself to it by now but there was still that creeping naive thought that he'd one day be found and freed from this prison. How stupid of him.

Well, at least his captor hasn't been 'round for a few days. It allowed him to recover from their last encounter even though his body still ached from the abuse it had to endure. Calian couldn't help the shiver that travelled down his spine at the memory.

Calian's chain of thoughts was soon cut short by the sound of the door creaking open, making the male instantly tense. Damn, spoke too soon about recovery. He watched the figure—figures?—warily as they moved through the doorway.

Calian didn't say a word, watching his captor carry in a limp body and unceremoniously dump the poor newest victim onto the floor. "Found a little friend for you." His captor said, his voice mocking and taunting with dark intent, daring Calian to try and defy him again.

Calian didn't dare this time. He stayed stiffly in his spot against the wall, his eyes following his captor as he exited the room, slamming and locking the door behind him. Once he was sure that his captor was gone, he looked back at the body lying on the cold hard floor in the centre of the room.
