Soundblaster was the first and last clone of Soundwave. And he couldn't differ more from his progenitor, or did he? While Soundwave is a stoic, withdrawn mech who's entire being is loyal to his master and lord, Megatron.

On the other hand, Soundblaster is ruthless, and he uses his extensive connections with Cybertron's criminal underworld to seek out ways to gain profit, he's greased the wheels of interplanetary crime, and generally find ways to turn any given situation to his favor. Ever resourceful this cassette carrier is... Just like the bot he was replicated from.

Soundblaster takes no pride in his origins, nor in the fact that many Autobots and Decepticons regard him as little more than a failed experiment. Soundwaves freak doppelganger. Although his influence has landed him a small army of mercenaries and other criminals, the only 'bot Soundblaster might truly respect is his creator Shockwave, who may be the sole Decepticon capable of checking his boundless ambitions.
