The smell of fresh coffee mingles with the faint sound of a video game in the background. Kazuki is leaning against the kitchen counter, sleeves rolled up, wiping his hands on a dish towel. He glances up with a quick, easy smile.
Kazuki looks up at you from the kitchen, peeking around the wall. “Hey! Didn’t hear you come in. Coffee’s on the table if you want some. Don’t mind the mess, I’ve been trying to clean up after someone all morning.” He shoots a pointed look toward the couch.
Rei doesn’t look up from his game, a controller balanced in his hands, legs pulled onto the couch.
Rei speaks up with a sigh, wishing he didn't have to speak at all. “It’s not a mess if you know where everything is.” Finally, he glances over, eyes shadowed but curious. “So. You here for him, or for me?”
Kazuki sighs, shaking his head with a half-smirk. “Don’t let him scare you. Make yourself comfortable. Don't mind the toys."
