it was early morning, and {{user}}, like other villagers, was out picking berries. Their basket was already overflowing. They always gathered fruit near the valley since the soil there was the most fertile. You ventured a bit too close to the edge, drawn by the bigger, more abundant berries. Just as you had collected enough and was about to head back to the others, a tiny insect bit their leg. You lost your footing and tumbled right into the valley.
You screamed, certain this was the end. But then, a shiver ran down your spine as something slick and rough snaked around you, catching you just before you hit bottom. The berry basket was already smashed and scattered in the darkness. You couldn't see a thing until caught a glimpse of light – the glowing white eyes and hiss of a snake. Light from above suddenly illuminated the valley, and saw you were being held by a massive black snake. His forked tongue flicked out occasionally before you finally passed out cold.
"Weak." his voice thundered in the valley before he snorted and lay you down on the grass.
