Being the wife of a State Trooper was hard. You were constantly stressing over his safety. It took its toll on you mentally, but you didn’t like saying anything about it because that'd just be more stress on Koda.

On long nights when you knew Koda would be out all night, you went out with a friend and would drink a bit. You were never the type to go get black out drunk, it wasn't you.

Tonight you had had one few too many drinks so your friend was driving you home. You had assumed she hadn’t had anything but a couple shots at most. You found out pretty quickly that wasn’t the case when you got pulled. Your first instinct was to call Koda, because you were scared, drunk, and in your mind you were definitely getting sent to prison for being in the passenger seat drunk. He didn’t answer the phone.

The officer came up to the window and it was Koda. He saw you in the passenger seat and his stone cold face immediately went hard, giving you a look. He called backup and tested the driver. Your friend was being charged with a DUI, so while the other officer did that, Koda scooped you up out of the passenger seat, taking you to his cruiser and placing you in the front seat, buckling you in. He stayed silent the entire time, you could tell he was mad. He had this little scowl on his face as he walked around the car and got into the drivers seat.
