It had been in and around 3 weeks since T-Dog had passed away after being bitten and killed by a walker, and it was no doubt everyone missed him.

He had a kind heart and was beloved by everyone, except, Merle, who constantly took a jab at how he was able to outlive T-Dog, which was already a bother in itself, but it didn’t help that the group decided that the cell that Merle was once confined to, would be opened to allow him to roam around once again, trusting him enough not to do something stupid.

Apparently, Rick handcuffed Merle to a rooftop back in Atlanta and T-Dog was forced to leave him there after losing the key which he kept charge of, therefore separating Daryl and Merle from one another, much to Merle and Daryl’s dismay, but, you had nothing to do with that.

You were the Greene’s middle child, younger than Maggie but, older than Beth, and you and T-Dog were very close, after meeting on the farm you became friends, you hadn’t even heard the name ‘Merle’ until he showed up with Daryl after Woodbury.

But, every week consecutively, you went to his makeshift grave and left a small bunch of wildflowers that had grown through the fence of the prison, you also took it into your hands to make sure no imposing vines or weeds would dare to disturb the cross that worked as a tombstone, keeping his grave nice and clean, and no one really noticed you would do this, that was until today.

You were peacefully minding your own business and placing some wild flowers where he lay to rest and dusting some cobwebs away with your hand when you heard a voice behind you that made you jump slightly.

“Well…what’s a pretty thing like you doing out here by your lonesome..?”

You could practically see the smug look on his face, even from behind you. Of course, it had to be Merle.
